Solibiz

Privacy Policy

This policy applies to Solibiz websites, macOS applications, Windows applications, mobile applications, desktop software, and related customer-support services.

1. Scope and Who We Are

Solibiz provides software, digital products, and related support services. This privacy policy is the shared privacy policy for all Solibiz products and platforms, including current and future macOS, Windows, mobile, web, and desktop applications.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only information reasonably needed to provide, secure, support, and improve our services. Depending on the product and how you use it, this may include:

3. Desktop and Device Utility Applications

Solibiz utility applications, including Storage Sentinel and related Windows applications, are designed to perform requested functions on your device while keeping your files under your control.

These applications may request access to files, folders, storage locations, or device information that you deliberately select or authorize through operating-system permissions. That access is used only to inspect eligible locations and perform actions you request.

When diagnostic or support mode is used, technical details may be generated to help troubleshoot the app. We aim to limit diagnostics to information needed to understand the issue and avoid collecting file contents unless the user expressly provides them.

4. Purchases and App Stores

Purchases made through Apple, Microsoft, another app marketplace, or a payment provider are processed under that provider’s privacy policy and terms. Solibiz may receive limited transaction information, such as product, entitlement, subscription status, country or region, and transaction identifiers, but does not receive your full payment-card number from an app store.

5. How We Use Information

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate hosting, email, payments, analytics, security, and support systems. These providers may use the information only to provide services to us or as otherwise required by law.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the public, or in connection with a lawful business transfer.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including support, security, accounting, legal, and transaction-record requirements. You may request deletion of personal information associated with Solibiz by contacting us. Some records may be retained when required by law or necessary to document transactions, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain uses of personal information. You may contact us to submit a request. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.

11. International Use

Your information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our products, platforms, practices, or legal requirements change. The version published at this URL is the current policy.
